The primary logo icon is a combination of an anchor and the front of the boat. The custom logo type was developed to reflect the sporty and fun personality of the Savannah Vessel Management brand.

This project is an example of my work from a previous client commission. I developed the logo and branding package for Savannah Vessel Management Marina, located in beautiful Savannah, Georgia. After research and experimentation, I provided my client with a sleek, sporty logo as well as a custom typeface. In addition to Savannah Vessel Management, I also developed a logo and branding package for the Marina’s boat sightseeing tour Marsh Coast Expeditions. This project focused on delivering a cohesive branding collaboration between two companies with different target demographics.

Research
I worked closely with the founder of Savannah Vessel Management to capture the vision they had for their logo. Visiting local marinas in the low country was a key element of my research. It helped me understand what customers’ values and expectations of a local marina.
