When traveling with pets, many people experience confusion, frustration, and a sense of helplessness and as a result pets are often left behind, or travelers are altogether abandoned. The solution is a pet-friendly travel application that assists its users in every aspect of traveling with their pets.

I was the graphic design lead on the development team for the international pet travel app Zoomeez. In addition to designing the app’s logo and developing the user interface assets, I collaborated with my team on extensive market research. Initial primary research and in-depth secondary research were followed by the affinitization of 280 data points. I conducted user testing of the app through the low-fidelity, mid-fidelity, and high-fidelity screen development phases. The app Zoomeez includes a book now feature with partnered airlines, lodging, and vehicle travel, an emergency vet hotline, a calendar with deadlines and trip itinerary, and a home page with individual pet profiles.

The key features of the app were determined by assessing the pain points of our research findings on the pet travel process. Once the app was in the wireframe development phase, the team conducted user tests during the design process.
